Using SuperHub in Huawei PC Manager

The SuperHub feature of Huawei PC Manager can temporarily store information in multiple formats, such as files, text, and images. You can drag your desired content to SuperHub, and the content will display as cards. You can move the card to another location on your computer (e.g., desktop) or an app (e.g., Word). You can also transfer SuperHub content to your phone for easy editing and access. This feature helps you efficiently organize fragmented information and transfer content across devices.

Add content to SuperHub

SuperHub supports up to 15 drag-and-drop operations. It is recommended that you clear the content in SuperHub in a timely manner for a better experience.

  • Method 1: Drag and drop content to SuperHub

    Prerequisites:

    Make sure that Show on drag is enabled in Huawei PC Manager (this switch is enabled by default). If it is disabled, perform the following operations: Open Huawei PC Manager, click the four-dot icon in the upper right corner, go to Settings > Connections, and enable Show on drag under SuperHub.

    Perform the following steps:

    Select and hold down on your desired content. Move the cursor and drag the content to the top of the screen. The SuperHub floating bar will display on the top of the screen. Drag the content to the floating bar.

  • Method 2: Via the Show on shake feature

    Prerequisites:

    Make sure that Show on shake is enabled in Huawei PC Manager (this switch is enabled by default). If it is disabled, perform the following operations: Open Huawei PC Manager, click the four-dot icon in the upper right corner, go to Settings > Connections, and enable Show on shake under SuperHub.

    Perform the following steps:

    Select and hold down on your desired content. Move the mouse left or right until the Add to SuperHub icon displays on the desktop, and drag the selected content to the icon. You will then find the content in the SuperHub floating bar on the top of the desktop.

  • Method 3: Via Control Panel
    1. On the taskbar, click the Control Panel icon in the lower right corner and select SuperHub.

    2. A SuperHub floating bar will display on the top of the desktop. Select your desired content and drag it to the floating bar.

  • Method 4: Via a quick entry

    After you use PC Manager to take a screenshot or record a screen, a thumbnail will display in the lower right corner of the screen. When you move the cursor to the thumbnail, the Add to SuperHub option will display. Click this option to save the screenshot or screen recording file to SuperHub.

 
  • When you open SuperHub for the first time, the SuperHub floating bar will display on the top of the desktop by default. You can drag the SuperHub floating bar from the top of the desktop as required, to change it to a floating window. The next time you open SuperHub, the SuperHub window will appear where it was last closed.

  • You can use the mouse to drag the window and adjust its length to display more content. Currently, full-screen and scaled resizing are not supported.

Use SuperHub to transfer content

After you drag your desired content to SuperHub, the content will display as cards. You can then drag the cards out, to transfer the content.
  • Drag the content to another screen or app on the computer

    You can select and hold down on content in the floating bar, and drag content to any other locations on your computer (e.g., desktop) or an app (e.g., Word).

  • Transfer content to a mobile phone
     
    • Make sure that your phone runs EMUI 13.0 or later and supports SuperHub.
    • Before you get started, you'll need to connect your phone to the computer.
      1. Make sure that Bluetooth and Wi-Fi on your phone and computer are enabled.
      2. Log in to the same HUAWEI ID on your phone and computer.
    1. Select a card in SuperHub, click the transfer icon in the upper right corner, and select your desired mobile device.

    2. Once the progress bar reaches 100%, the Hop successful message will display.

    3. Your mobile phone SuperHub will receive a file receiving notification.

Manage SuperHub

In the SuperHub floating bar, touch the four-dot icon :

  • Click Show history to view and use the historical data of SuperHub. When SuperHub is closed, the content will be automatically saved as historical data (a maximum of 50 groups).

  • Click Delete all to delete all content from SuperHub.

  • Click Select, so that you can select one or more content cards in SuperHub. Click the delete icon in the upper right corner of the SuperHub floating bar, and click DELETE in the dialog box to delete the selected content.

  • You can also move your mouse over a content card and click the delete icon , to delete a single content card. Click the transfer icon to transfer the content to your phone.
