Locking and unlocking the watch screen

Touch gestures will not work when your watch screen is locked. This feature is useful for preventing unintended operations in scenarios such as when you are swimming and water touches the screen.
Locking the screen
Swipe down from the top of the watch home screen to access Control Panel, and tap Lock screen.
HUAWEI WATCH 3 Series: If the Lock screen feature is not displayed in the shortcut menu, tap Edit to add Lock screen to the shortcut menu.
Other smart watches with dual battery modes do not support the Lock screen feature in Standard mode. You can switch to Battery saver mode to use it.
Unlocking the screen
- Rotate the watch crown to unlock the screen.
- Press and hold the Down button to unlock the screen. (This feature is supported only on some watch models.)
