Magazine Unlock will change the image displayed on the lock screen every time the screen is turned on.

Go to Settings > Home screen & wallpaper > Magazine Unlock, and enable Magazine Unlock.

When your phone is connected to a Wi-Fi network, it will automatically download magazine unlock images. When new images are downloaded, existing ones will automatically be cleared to free up space.

HarmonyOS 2.0/HarmonyOS 3.0/EMUI 9.X/10.X/EMUI 11.X & Magic UI 2.X/ Magic UI 3.0: Go to Settings > Home & Wallpapers > Lock screen style, and select Magazine,

HarmonyOS 4.0: Go to Settings > Home & Personalization > Magazine Lock > Enable Magazine Lock.

EMUI 8.X: Go to Settings > Security & privacy > Lock screen and password > Lock screen style, and select Magazine.

When your phone is connected to a Wi-Fi network, the lock screen wallpaper will be automatically downloaded. When new wallpapers are available, historical wallpapers are automatically cleaned and no longer occupy space.

Go to Settings > Home screen & wallpaper > Magazine Unlock, and disable Magazine Unlock.

Your phone will no longer automatically switch magazine unlock images. Images saved to favorites and local images added to the Magazine unlock library will not be cleared.

Turn on the screen, and swipe up from the bottom of the lock screen to access the magazine unlock management screen.

Touch at the top of the screen. You can then:

• Touch Pin, and the magazine unlock image will not change each time you turn on the screen. To unpin the image, go to > Unpin .
• Touch Dislike, and the current magazine unlock image will be removed from the library and will no longer appear on the lock screen.
• Touch Like, and the current wallpaper will not be cleared after new lock screen images have been downloaded. The image will also be saved to Gallery.

  To unfavorite the image, go to > Unfavorite , and the image will be cleared after new lock screen images have been downloaded.

• Touch Share, and choose your preferred way to share the image.

Preset magazine unlock images cannot be added to favorites or shared.

If Face unlock is enabled, do not look directly at your phone when turning on the screen. Ensure that your phone is still locked before swiping up to access the magazine unlock management screen.

If you unfavorite an image, it will not be removed from Gallery.

Go to Settings > Home screen & wallpaper > Magazine Unlock or Settings > Home screen & wallpaper > Magazine Unlock > Subscriptions(depending on your device model) and select or deselect the magazine unlock image categories as needed.

If you deselect all types, your phone will not download new magazine unlock images and will only display already downloaded images.

Go to Settings > Home screen & wallpaper > Magazine Unlock > Added from Gallery or Settings > Home screen & wallpaper > Magazine Unlock > Subscriptions > Added from Gallery(depending on your device model), touch , select a local image, and save it as prompted.

Open Gallery, touch the Albums tab, then go to Others > Magazine Unlock. To select an image you want to delete, touch and hold it. You can select multiple images as needed.
