Problem

During a blood pressure measurement, the watch displays the prompt Inflation error. Check the cuff and try again. or Cuff error.

Solution

To resolve this issue, perform the following steps and refer to the following figure/video tutorial for HUAWEI WATCH D2.

Hold down on the quick release button for the shorter strap section, and remove the strap.

  1. Wipe the watch's air inlet clean and dry with a soft cloth, and leave it to dry out for 1–2 hours, so that no dirt or water stain may hinder the airbag's inflation and deflation.
  2. Re-attach the strap once the cleaning is done.

Measure your blood pressure in dry environments. Do not use the watch while showering or swimming, and keep the watch away from hand sanitizers, shampoo, detergent, and any other household chemicals.

If there is too much liquid, wipe the device dry and leave it aside for 24 hours. If the issue persists, take your device and proof of purchase to an authorized Huawei Customer Service Center for assistance.
