Distinguish between the HUAWEI M-Pencil Charger models

Currently, HUAWEI M-Pencil Charger (2nd generation) is not available in the market.

  • When paired with a tablet, the HUAWEI M-Pencil first-generation and third-generation chargers are compatible.
  • When paired with a laptop, only the HUAWEI M-Pencil third-generation and its chargrer are supported.
  • Method 1: Distinguish by the label color.

    A white label indicates a HUAWEI M-Pencil Charger (1st generation), while a silver label indicates a HUAWEI M-Pencil Charger (3rd generation).

  • Method 2: Distinguish by the SN.

    An SN that starts with 5ML indicates a HUAWEI M-Pencil Charger (1st generation), while an SN that starts with 3DD indicates a HUAWEI M-Pencil Charger (3rd generation).

    You can view the SN on the HUAWEI M-Pencil Charger base.
