The protective film is scratched when my phone is placed in a flip cover |
Problem:
The screen protector becomes worn down or indented when the phone is in a leather cover.
Cause:
The phone's screen protector may suffer stress or friction damage if a large amount of pressure is applied to the surface of the leather cover when it is closed, or if hard foreign objects (such as grains of sand or shards of metal) become caught between the inner surface of the cover and the protector. As the screen protector is made from a softer material than the leather cover surface or other foreign objects, it may become worn down (at the magnetic area of the leather cover) or indented (at the textured area on the inner surface of the leather cover) after prolonged contact.
Solution:
- Remove the screen protector when you are using a leather cover. The leather cover will be sufficient to protect your phone's screen from damage.
- Clean your phone's screen regularly. You can also try wiping the surface of the screen protector using a microfiber cloth to see whether the blemishes on the surface can be removed. If you cannot remove these marks, take your phone and the proof of purchase to an authorized Huawei Customer Service Center for assistance.
