It is recommended that you fully charge your wearable device before updating it. Troubleshoot the issue by performing the following steps:
- Check your phone's network status, make sure that your phone is connected to a 4G/5G or Wi-Fi network, and try again.
- Certain phones may experience longer transmission times due to slow Bluetooth transmission rates, multiple connected Bluetooth devices, or a large update package for the wearable. Please wait patiently or disable and re-enable Bluetooth on your phone and try again.
- Do not use your wearable device or phone during the update. Once the update package is installed, your wearable device will automatically restart and relink with the Huawei Health app.
- It is recommended that you enable automatic update on your wearable device, so that it can update automatically while charging.
To enable this feature, go to Huawei Health > Devices, navigate to the device details screen, tap Firmware update and Settings in the upper right corner, and enable Auto-download update packages over Wi-Fi and Auto-install updates and restart the device when idle.
- If the update fails, connect your wearable device to another phone and try again.
If the problem persists or you encounter any difficulties, back up your data, and bring your device and proof of purchase to an authorized Huawei Customer Service Center for assistance.
