The battery levels of the left and right HUAWEI earbuds are different
  1. The earbud first taken out of the charging case usually serves as the primary earbud. When both earbuds are worn during phone calls, only the microphone on the primary earbud will be used. In addition, the primary earbud needs to maintain a stable connection with the phone while transmitting data with the secondary earbud. Therefore, it tends to consume more power than the secondary earbud, which causes the battery levels of the left and right earbuds to differ. This is normal and does not indicate an issue with your earbuds.
  2. The battery ages with increased usage time, and the battery capacity decreases. If you tend to wear just one earbud, the battery capacity of that earbud will decrease faster, leading to different battery levels between the two earbuds.
  3. When Spatial Audio is enabled on some earbuds, the battery levels of the two earbuds may differ greatly. This is normal and does not indicate an issue with your earbuds.

If you tend to wear just one earbud, that earbud will consume more power than the other earbud. Try cycling through both earbuds instead.

If you notice that the battery levels of the two earbuds are significantly different, perform the following steps:

  1. Update the earbuds' firmware to the latest version.
  2. Restore the earbuds to their factory settings and reconnect them.
  3. Fully charge the earbuds, wear them for a while, and check whether their battery levels are the same. If the battery levels still differ significantly, take your device and proof of purchase to an authorized Huawei Customer Service Center for assistance.
