This does not indicate protection against hot water during showers. Diving (up to 150 metres): This product complies with the EN 13319 standard for diving equipment. It can be worn during dives (at depths of up to 150 metres) and during shallow water activities such as swimming in a pool or along the coast. After wearing the device in the water, clean and dry it promptly, remove the water stains from the product surfaces and all holes, and use the drainage feature to prevent any negative impact on device performance. The device should not be worn in the following scenarios: (Damage to the device caused by immersion in liquid is not covered under the warranty if the device is worn in an inappropriate scenario/activity.)
a. Diving activities exceeding a depth of 150 metres.
b. Hot showers, hot springs, saunas (steam rooms), and other activities in high-temperature and/or high-humidity environments.
c. Activities that could expose the device to shower gel, shampoo, soapy water, or any other laundry or cleaning products. If the device does come into contact with any such product, rinse and soak it in clean water for 30 minutes before drying it promptly.
d. Platform dives, high-pressure rinsing, or other activities that involve high water pressure or fast-flowing water.
e. Composite vegan leather, leather, composite woven, titanium, and ceramic straps are not designed for water activities (such as swimming) or to withstand sweat, and therefore it is recommended that other straps be worn in such scenarios. It is recommended that you wash and soak the device body and strap with clean water and wipe them dry, after wearing them in seawater, to reduce the risk of corrosion. Sonar-based communication allows divers within 30 metres to share texts and emojis, or to send SOS messages directly from their HUAWEI WATCH ULTIMATE DESIGN Royal Gold Edition or HUAWEI WATCH Ultimate 2. When enabled, sonar-based communication allows recipients to forward the SOS message, boosting the range to 60 metres. External factors such as engine noise, wind turbines, underwater construction work, and physical barriers such as reefs, ship hulls, caves, air bubbles, and large sea creatures can interrupt signals and reduce the effective communications range. If a message fails to be transmitted, the watch will automatically attempt to re-transmit within 25 s and will keep you informed about delivery status via a sound alert. To reduce obstructions when sending a message, it is recommended that you extend your arm fully, keeping it clear of your body, while also facing the watch screen towards your diving buddy. If you are unsure of your diving buddy's location, try turning your watch face in different directions until the message sending tone no longer plays. This will enhance the likelihood of successful message transmission. If you hear the tone indicating message transmission from your diving buddy's watch but do not receive the message, try facing your watch screen in different directions to reduce obstructions and improve the likelihood of receiving the message. Sonar-based communication does not support audio or video communications. Remember to confirm that blocking messages from strangers is not enabled. Once this feature is enabled, you won't be able to receive messages from anyone who isn't in your contact list.

This feature automatically optimises call clarity by suppressing ambient noise, ensuring that you are heard clearly without the need for manual adjustments. Actual call quality may vary based on usage habits, environmental conditions, and specific applications.
Taking pictures from the watch works through the Remote shutter feature, which is only available when the watch is connected with a phone running EMUI 10.1/iOS 13.0 or later.
This feature is supported by DJI OSMO, Insta360 and other apps.
This feature is disabled by default and will be automatically enabled after you complete the gesture tutorial. When using this feature, make sure that the bottom of your watch remains close to your wrist. Your watch may be unable to recognise gestures during high-intensity exercise like running or cycling, or if there are tattoos on your wrist. Actual usage shall prevail.
